Owner & handler

Hi! I'm Saana Simola, I was born in March 1988 in Rovaniemi, Finland. Nowadays I live in Tampere with my poodles and with my boyfriend. I'm studying in University of Tampere. Beside of studying i'm working at Best Friend Group Finland and I'm member of Finnish Kennel Clubs Youth Comittee.

I got my first poodle "Venla" in March 2000 when I was about 12 years old. I immediately fell in love with poodles!

After a few years I was sure that I should get my own "show-poodle", because Venla wasn't able to go to show rings. I was very happy in April 2004, when Jukka Lillstrang (kennel Soltar's) told me that he would have a puppy for me. "Nemo" (Soltar's Hardwood Stomp) moved to my household in June 2004. Nemo has been just the perfect poodle for me. He is very pretty and his character is also fantastic!

In 2006 I started thinking of getting another show-poodle, so in the summer of 2006 Redi (San-Jo-Le's Bluemarin) came to my family from Sweden. Unluckily Redi isn't able to go to show rings, so now Redi is a happy pet.

In the summer of 2007 Redi's breeder Johanna Sandström told me that she had the perfect puppy for me. When I saw "Lana" (San-Jo-Le's Day) for the first time I was amazed, the puppy was one of the most beautiful puppies I have ever seen. So Lana moved to Finland in October 2007. Lana has now one litter for kennel Soltar's.

Nowadays Venla lives with my mom, but I still have three poodles living with me, so I am never bored!
